INSULATED PANELS

With advancements in construction materials, a modern solution for both residential and commercial construction projects are Insulated metal panels. Also known as insulated sandwich panels, insulated panels consist of an insulation layer between two structural steel skin layers. anels
are composite elements that can be used to build floors, walls, and roofs.

Insulated metal panels are known for their superior thermal performance, energy efficiency, and durability design flexibility and fast installation time as compared to traditional wood-framed panels.

The performance of Insulated metal panels or insulated sandwich panels varies depending on the
materials used for its core and its exterior layers. Most popular materials for the core are expanded
polystyrene (EPS), polyisocyanurate (PIR), polyurethane (PUR), mineral wool (MW). Different each
materials come with their own properties, advantages and disadvantages, PIR cores are generally
more resistant to water and fire than PUR, EPS, and are more durable than mineral wool or other
materials. The metal facings on either side of the core also come in a variety of options, the most
popular being prepainted galvanized iron, metal, aluminium.
TSSC’s insulated metal panels are available in a wide variety of colors and finishes to match different
project requirements and allow aesthetic integration of a multitude of profile types. Insulated metal
panels are weather-tight and provide a strong thermal and moisture barrier. The specially
engineered panel joints provide protection from wind, rain and moisture.
